Yesterday's New York Times Op-Ed piece by Nicholas Kristof gave back handed support to Donald Rumsfeld not resigning as a result of our use of torture in Iraqi:The person who charted the course into Iraq and who bears ultimate responsibility is not Mr. Rumsfeld but Mr. Bush - and his bosses will get a chance to fire him in November.
Now why would they do that?
