Dave: A few days ago Mark Pilgrim was railing about how Radio is the wrong app because it's a desktop web server. We think desktop web servers are great. Now he says he likes Amphetadesk. Unless I'm missing something, it's also a desktop web server. So Mark, which is it? Do you like desktop web servers or not?
I'm not sure I want to get caught in the shrapnel over this issue, but Mark and I did discuss this over lunch yesterday... Summary of the discussion: desktop web servers are good. Running such a web server on the public internet falls clearly and completely into the "do not try this at home" category.
