We arrived in Santa Cruz. Highway 1 is amazing even if the weather was somewhat uncooperative. We bought strawberries and ate at a roadside gas station called Beach House. We ate very well, though. Fried sea food, it was truly wonderful. They called it Tempura which is funny. Tempura is really what is called rebosados in spanish. The japanese learned it from portuguese monks, the mexicans learned it from the spanish. But mexicans doing it in the US call it by the japanese name, so that everybody understands. He.

I doubt that even if this action is successful, people will stop using P2P networks. That a puny $20 b industry is on a path to potentially cause $100 billion + in damage to the US economy based on less than $1 b in suspected damages defies reason. [John Robb's Radio Weblog]

Yesterday we went to Berkeley. Today we are leaving San Francisco and going to Santa Cruz, very slowly. We plan to use Highway 1.
