The new switch ads from Apple are amazing and weird. Amazing to hear a ex-mac hater IT manager, Gianni Jacklone, say The new Mac OS is da bomb. Amazing to hear strange phrases like, Richard Ziskin, the last umbrella manufacturer in the US say My dream is that it rains every single day, amazing to see Tony Hawk and Kelly Slater doing ads. But weird also, I think Tony Hawk has been a Mac user for a long time, neither he, nor Kelly Slater, nor DJQbert claim to be switchers... Are they?

AnswerBus is a pretty good, new experimental natural language search engine. Less answers than Google but more in target. Served from the Old Alma Matter so it deserves a place in my heart. [via Jerry Kindall]

Google Degraded? Geeks Aghast. Did Google lower its standards for ranking Web pages on its search engine? Its filtering of spam sites and doorway pages appears to be less than what it used to, observers say. By Paul Boutin. [Wired News]
The complain about Google seems to amount to I have fall down in the Rank, something must be wrong. They talked about problems like empty pages in the first page of a search, but they don't give a single example. Is the page in the cache empty too? Common guys, grow up!
