Women may be unfaithful on the least convenient days of the month (for men). Some guy found out none of his kids where his. His youngest son was found to have a devastating lung disorder caused by a single faulty gene, he didn't have the gene. His wife, whom he thought faithful, was being particularly unfaithful precisely when she was ovulating.
I once read a theory that the main reproductive strategy for women was to find a good, reliable male (a geek) to help her raise kids, while the main strategy for men was to be strong in order to have many mates. The secondary strategy for men (resp. for women) is to follow the main strategy of women (resp. of men), hence civilization was created when most women got follow their main strategy and most men their secondary strategy. I guess this new research indicates women may have been, generally, stringing men along. Have a good parent to help you support the genes of the strong mates, even if they aren't his. Ah, well, I guess it's for a good cause... (the survival of the species) or is it?

The government has been trying to show military support for its cause by presenting "Institutional messages" from each garrison and force. My brother sent me the link to a video that shows a scene before the message where a commandant is warning the troop he doesn't want any funny bussiness, even threatening with killing anyone who attempts to disrupt the ceremony. Isn't threatening someone life a crime? The commanding officer is so stupid that he evens considers the possibility that he is being film, but doesn't even turn back to check the camera! I don't know how long it will last but here is the clip. It's in Real Video, so good luck! You will need it!
The whole thing remind me of an old joke that the unit of intelligence is the "tar". A normal person has hundreds of tars of intelligence, while a genius has thousands (kilo-tars). But the lowest a human being can go is a "mili-tar". He.
On other news, it seems Gaviria is reading this site. Not only he met with Medina, the leader of the rebel military, but he didn't criticize him afterwards. He seem kind of surprise to see this was a very intelligent person...No, I don't hold any hopes with Gaviria's visit and my opinion on him and the OAS is basically unchanged. They would have to perform a flawless miracle to really be of help...
