What's holding back online music?. There has been no shortage of bright ideas, but so far nobody has figured out how to put it all together and find a business model that excites consumers. Experts at Wharton examine why. [CNET News.com]
The idea of these so called experts is that the future is in subscriptions services, they can't figure it out why the current services have not prospered. I guess these guys either do no listen to music in their cars or portable devices, or they have a mysterious always on internet connection we don't know about. It's great to see how mediocre minds think. Apple service selling 5 million songs in two months is a drop in the bucket compare to... wait for it... The free illegal services. Well, sneakerbrain, what the illegal services make in dollars is a drop in the bucket compare to 5 million dollars... Denk!
