This attitude is stupid and counter producing. I have been accused of being infected by PC virus even though I use a Mac! First, some virus spoof the email address. Second, Virus detection tools are not perfect, so the goods ones err on the false positive side (better to reject a good message than to accept a contaminated one), so not all virus detections are actually true. It is better to educate people, but for that, technologist will have to start telling the truth: The reliance on Windows is not a good thing...
