It should be just as easy for my band (if I had one at the moment) to provide content to sell via iMusic as it is for me to buy it. Provide the tools for us to post our music for sale, along with the album covers and glam shots, and collect payment, just like you do for Sting and U2. We do all the work, you provide the venue and the mechanism for sales, we provide the content.'Cool idea and who knows? It could happen. Just off the top of my head . . . Apple could set up a scheme where there's a standard deal for anyone who wants to dump their stuff in there and there's a category for unsigned bands. The trick will be managing the losers show title their stuff to return hits so that people looking for something else will stumble across their stuff. This would be consumer hostile and not in Apple's interest.
