I spent the WHOLE DAY working on a making a SPLASH SCREEN appear when our Timeport application starts up. This hateful process is known to marketoids as "Branding" It STILL doesn't work -- the logo only appears in the emulator, not when running on the actual hardware. And no, I'm not trying to make a point about how stupid I am, rather that this little platform is the most evil thing I've ever worked with. 5:21:01 PM     comment []

Here's a picture tour of my walk to work every day. I was thrilled to find this site -- these people are trying to shame the local government into doing something about the problem. You can't really get the full experience of walking through SOMA or the tenderloin from this site because it's missing all the lovely smells! Vote Giuliani for Mayor of San Francisco!
