Israel cracks down on biased BBC The Times Online reports that the government of Israel has decided to break all ties with the BBC as a result of its repeated "demonisation" of the country and today’s planned showing on BBC World of a critical documentary on Israel’s nuclear, biological and chemical arsenal. Israel claims this program includes the false assertions that it used nerve gas against the Palestinians. The Times Online states this will result in a refusal to put up official spokespeople for BBC interviews and visa restrictions that will make it difficult for the BBC to report from Israel.
