From comp.lang.lisp: TXL - "It started
out as a tool to experiment with language extentions.  You feed it a loose
grammar and a set of (functional) tree-transformation rules.  It parses,
transforms, unparses and pretty-prints the result.  Other tree-transforming
grammar tools exist (e.g. Antlr)."

The Goo Programming Language now has a SWIG binding allowing you to call C and C++ libraries. The Goo SWIG binding is available at the Goo Wiki.
