Macworld Expo: SQL Databases and Mac OS X

- Mark Lilback, President of Runtime Labs, will moderate a "Birds of a Feather" meeting at Macworld Expo which will cover the various SQL servers, client libraries, and SQL tools available for Mac OS X (including ODBC). Topics will include differences between the various free and commercial SQL databases, serving PHP and Perl Web pages that interact with SQL databases, and automating workflow with AppleScript and SQL. The meeting will be held on Wed, July 17, from 6-7:30 PM. I apologize for not posting this sooner but I've just discovered it myself. Now get goin' so you don't miss it!!

MacCentral: REALbasic 4.5 ships

- "Real Software has announced that they're shipping REALbasic 4.5 today at Macworld New York. REALbasic is the company's integrated development environment (IDE)."

According to the article, the new release includes many useful improvements to REALbasic's AppleScript support.
