Synchronize! Pro X v2.0b1
- Synchronize! Pro is a file server mirroring, synchronization, and backup utility that supports AppleScript initiation of backup and synchronization. Version changes: Adds the ability to make bootable system backups without having to log in as root. All files which are copied or deleted are now entered in the Log as an option. 'The lone bright spot in the survey was Apple Computer'
- "A new survey shows consumers are increasingly dissatisfied with the level of customer support they are getting with PCs." [CNET News.com]
I mention this only because I am the recent recipient of some excellent customer service from Apple. I was so impressed that I bought AppleCare for my tiBook.

Mac Net Journal: OmniWeb 4.1.1sp1 arrives
- The folks from The Omni Group have released the first update to OmniWeb since the release of OmniWeb 4.1 Final in June. OmniWeb 4.1.1 sneaky peak 1 fixes a few bugs and allows OmniWeb to work better with RealPlayer and Windows Media Player among other enhancements. Check the release notes for complete details.

Print Center Repair v1.4.2
- PCR helps repair multiple Print Center problems. Version changes: Made significant improvements to the "Verify root user" and "Verify daemon user" options so that they now provide a more detailed description of any errors found. Improved the overall speed of the application.

SmartWrap v2.2
- SmartWrap analyzes your text, detects paragraphs and lists within your text, and rewraps your text so it wraps naturally within your document or message. Version changes: Created an easy to use installer for Mac OS X. Removed 32,000 character display limit for SmartWrap the Clipboard. There are now no length limits in any SmartWrap modules. Added enabling of key combinations to SmartWrap Preferences' AppleScript Dictionary. Added "Key Combination Enabled" option to SmartWrap Preferences. Some of these are off by default. Save lines matching "-- " (dash dash space) as a proper signature delimiter.
