Macscript.com: Call for testers
- MacScript.com's Steven Angier is seeking scripters to help test version 3 of the company's Macscript.com Library, a collection of 150 powerful functions written natively in AppleScript. Script Debugger v3.0.4 available
- From Late Night Software, the developer of Script Debugger, "If you are using Mac OS X 10.2 or later you need Script Debugger 3.0.4." The update also addresses other issues which have nothing to do with OS X 10.2. See the release notes for a full list of changes for both Mac OS X and Classic Mac OS systems.

MacBase Magazine
- MacBase Magazine has released its first monthly issue of a new PDF-only magazine for Mac users. The initial 50 page issue, illustrated in full color, includes several feature articles, how-to's, reviews and columns. It includes "Make Your Own MacBase Changer Droplet", which walks users through the entire process of using Script Editor to create a AppleScript droplet which will change file type and creator codes. While I haven't read the entire magazine, I'm already looking forward to the next issue. Check it out! [Mac OS X Hints]
