Jaguar Droppings
- Jaguar is on the prowl and every move is being tracked. Here are some thoughts from recent upgraders.
Overall, it appears that Jaguar will be Apple's most successful operating system to date. I'm still watching for news regarding AppleScript v1.9 (installed with Jaguar) and I'll post noteworthy items as they become available. In the meantime, I'll wait patiently for Amazon to ship my copy of Mac OS X 10.2.

- Jaguar is on the prowl and every move is being tracked. Here are some thoughts from recent upgraders.
"OS X 10.2 is full of the kind of maturity that 18 months of hearing users howl and praise can bring." - Glenn Fleishman, The Seattle Times [source]
"I am making some quick judgements today on what parts of Mac OS X 10.2 are worthy of space on my machine, and the best judge of that is determining which default applications bundled with Jaguar are Dock worthy." - Rob McNair-Huff, Mac Net Journal [source]
"It is clear that Apple has taken the "embrace and extend" philosophy to heart when it comes to standards." - Bill Bumgarner, bbum's rants, code & references [source]
