ScriptSaver 1.0

The GUI version of Buddy uses AppleScript for some tasks. Changes: Stocks page, 9 new newspaper sites and scheduled fetching. Buddy is open source.

- In addition to the changes mentioned on Saturday, the following features have been added to the Scripting Additions database at MacScripter.net.
The first URL retrieves all scripting addition packages using the Apple Event class "ScTl", limiting the results to 3 packages. The second URL retrieves the 10 most popular scripting additions (by download count).

- The RSS search interface now uses the same code as the web page. You can search for authors, commands, etc.
- You can now limit the search result with the "limit" tag.
