- Here's a new ScriptBuilders submission from Jeremy Clark which uses the Jaguar feature mentioned by Ken Bereskin today. AutoRip 0.1b will import songs from a CD automatically if they are not already in the iTunes library.

Mac OS X Hints: Make Spam Sieve easier to use in Entourage
- Anonymous: "I was very exicted about Spam Sieve, but it's a little cumbersome to use in Entourage. Spam Sieve adds Bayesian (as in Jaguar Mail) spam filtering to Mailsmith, Entourage, and PowerMail. I've updated the Applescripts that come with it to make it easier to use, and I thought you might be interested in sharing these ideas with other users."

AppleScript Studio example: Saving 'Properties' between launches of an app
- Jesse Shanks, in a message to the applescript-studio mailing list: " If you are up to AppleScript Studio 1.2, you can pretty easily read and write user defaults in a plist and it is quite similar to the old properties behavior. Here some examples from a Quicktime controlling app I have been working on." AppleScript Studio beginners: If you have scripts that store properties between runs, and you plan to move the scripts into Studio apps, this is an example of what lies ahead. In essence, you'll need to create a preference file/plist to store the properties. A plist is a property list.
