Trinfinity Software: Scripts for iTunes
Trinfinity has released three new open source scripts for iTunes users. The scripts require iTunes 2.0.3 or later and work with OS 9 and OS X.
'Capitalize Words In Tags' capitalizes the first letter of each word in the song name, artist, and album tags. It also makes all other characters in the tags lowercase.
'Extract Artist From Song Name' removes the artist name from the song name tag and puts it into the artist tag. It also removes leading and trailing spaces from both the song name tag and the artist tag.
'Remove Track Number from Song Name' removes the track number, along with spaces and dashes, from the song name.

NoName Scriptware: New and updated scripts
Upload X 1.0 is an AppleScript script for OS X that will auto upload files to a remote volume or server. It can also be used as an Image Capture droplet to transfer images downloaded from your digital camera to a remote volume.
Trash It! 3.0 force-empties your Trash and allows you to drop files/folders for immediate disposal. It also allows you to overwrite files 3x before deletion and view contents and size of the trash. Release notes: If an item or items is dropped onto Trash It!, only those items are deleted. Progress indicator is a "real" progress indicator bar when Trash It! is emptying the trash contents. Trash from NFS mounted media is now deleted. This is stored in the /private/automount/ Trashes folder. Trash from Network servers is now deleted. This is stored in the /Network/Servers/ Trashes folder. Major code revisions to improve speed and optimization.

SearchApp is an AppleScript Studio application that allows users to easily search any search engine they need without having to type the url into a browser.

Back up user prefs 2.3.7
This script can back up and restore a user's Preferences folder and browser preferences which are stored in other locations. It also has an option to include the Mail folder. Release notes: Adds support for Camino.
