Mac OS X Hints: Script the Repair Permissions function
This hint includes two scripts for repairing disk permissions in OS X. One script uses GUI scripting while the other is a simple AppleScript-driven shell script.

Apple: WWDC 2003 rescheduled and moved to San Francisco
Apple has announced that the Worldwide Developers Conference 2003 has been rescheduled for June 23-27. The conference has been moved to San Francisco and it will include an in-depth preview of the the next major release of Mac OS X, codenamed "Panther".
