I am never shopping at Media Play again Warning, Persoanl Rant: I went to go pick up the newest Sonic Youth and the somewhat older DJ Shadow release last night. Media Play usually puts their new releases on sale, so I figured since Murray Street came out on Tuesday, it should be on sale. Well... no. It was $16.99. They apparently don't even carry DJ Shadow anymore even though I've seen his cd's there for the last 4 years. Their prices keep rising and their selection keeps getting worse. I'm fed up. I guess in this world a giant like Media Play can't afford to keep anything but Britney Spears, N'Sync and Blink 182 in stock. It's horrible that 12 year old kids run the music business now.
