Sorry to not have posted a day-by-day report late last week. Let's just say that connecting from the Super 8 Motel isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'll have photos and some comments for you on this harrowing journey later today.

But for now, let me invite you to partake of a very excellent story we've posted this morning by security expert Patrick Mueller. It's a review of several hardened Linux distributions. No, these aren't Gold's Gym editions of RedHat and SuSe. They are security-enhanced niche products from the likes of OpenBSD, Pitbull, and SE.

If only Microsoft could sell a hardened version of Windows...
