Apple once again trying to patent existing tech.
There's really only one major problem. Microsoft already has this and Apple's previous patent doesn't cover multiple users. Well ok there's two. If they're gonna be so gung ho about using open source stuff it seems to me that Linux has had it's multiple desktops for a LONG time which is much more akin to what Apple is trying to patent here.
Now this story doesn't exactly get me going but I post it for this reason: I won't give up pointing out these useless arguments until every last person who tells me that MS stole the UI for Windows from Apple is dead. Every software company steals from their competitors because face it, there's only a few ideas that make sense for most of these kind of things. So until the people who are obssessed with a company that's made computers look like a toaster (the cube), a jellybean (the original iMac), and now a flower, (the more recent iMacs) shut their mouths and go back to being the hippies they are I will laugh as this stuff comes up.
