Upload a File, Go to Prison. Two congressmen introduce a bill to criminalize the uploading of copyright works to peer-to-peer networks. The penalty: five years in prison and $250,000 in fines. Critics say the law goes too far. By Katie Dean. [Wired News]

The previous post and this are two examples of the same idiocy.  What I did earlier in life was felony theft of $2,500 or more.  One song is worth a hell of a lot less than what I took.  Send me to jail, or try.  I'll call my lawyer and see if he can get me off this time too.
