Time Warner to Test Microsoft's iTV Software [WinBeta.Org]
WooT. Another device that whenever I turn it on I see the soothing image of the Microsoft trademark. I know, I know I'm a toy of the evil empire and doomed to eternal damnation at the hands of the penguins. I don't really care. MS's software just works for me. I don't have to worry about compatibility and different desktop enviornments. All my devices work together and play nice with each other and I appreciate that. I haven't seen a BSoD (Blue Screen Of Death) since I've started using XP before it came out and I haven't seen one yet in Longhorn and that's alpha code. So while the rest of the world bemoans the 800lb Gorilla taking over another device in their house with their horrible bug ridden software I'll be smiling as I turn on my computer, PocketPC, cable box etc and it just works so I can do the things online and offline that matter to me instead of worrying about /root/user, let the mighty code geeks worry about that.
