This morning was the annual Fur Rendezvous Frostbite Footrace. The race is held before the parade and follows the parade route. It's a blast and the costume contest is key component of the fun.
This year, Peter's Sunday morning running group decided to go as the Knik Arm Crossing - one of the two infamous Bridges to Nowhere - the one that happens to go right through my neighborhood. Our costume was pretty darn nifty - Laurie and Caroline did a great job! We won Second Place in the Group Category.
Because I don't run, I wasn't a part of the actual bridge. Instead I was the Funding - trailing far far far behind. Tyge was a last minute addition - he was the Congressional Watch Dog - also trailing far far behind.
