Ooooh - we're counting down the minutes to one of my favorite annual events: The State of the Union Drinking Game. I'm probably won't be able to listen to the entire speech, but I'll keep track for as long as I can.
UPDATE: I had to pay attention to work at about 20 minutes into the speech. Up to that point, "freedom" was the hands down winner - at least ten references.

This morning, the Slat Rat and Henry II happened to be at ground zero of a stolen truck/multi car pile up/shots being fired/police chase that tragically resulted in the death of a husband and father of three small children. Luckily, because I decided to stop to pick up coffee with the Ski Boy prior to heading off to Providence Hospital for x-rays, I just missed the actual accident. Instead, I got caught in the huge traffic snarl as at least twenty police cars went roaring by Henry and me while we were at Northern Lights and Lake Otis.
Henry II is very relieved that we just missed the event - he has no desire to star in a remake of The Seven Ups
