As I type, it's 9 below zero. And we're in the banana belt! Over at Mom's house, it was 18 below last night. Of course, in the Interior, it's 40 below. So, we Anchorburg-ites have it easy.
That being said, the morning and evening dog walks are pretty darn brisk!

I spent most of the day in jury selection proceedings - I have jury duty this week and my group got called in today. It took almost six hours to seat a jury and I was one of the very last ones to get bounced.
I have no idea why I was dismissed. Although I have a fun theory - it may have been geocaching. We had to fill out a long questionaire and one of the topics was hobbies and interests. So, my long list of fun stuff included geocaching. And that's what they quizzed me on. Amazingly, the DA had actually heard of geocaching.
