Agustine's two biggest eruptions of this cycle occurred at 8:00 PM last night and early this morning - still not a big one by anyone's standards, but definite activity. And since 2:30 PM this afternoon, the volcano has been steadily "ashing". So another round of "rumblin' and bumblin'" gets underway.

Here's a picture from The Alaska Volcano Observatory's Website of the two volcano wranglers, Dave Schneider and Cyrus Read out fixing the webcam on January 24th. Just an absolutely stunning shot by Michelle Coombs:




Now contrast that photo with this afternoon's webcam view. Pretty darn apocolyptic!




Here's the seismigraph output. You can see the eruption that occured this last night and again this morning. Plus at the bottom of the output, you can see the "ashing" which started at 2:30 PM (14:30):
