This morning, the Ski Boy, Karl, and Songya (my little sister) and I did an al fresco brunch down at the Embarcadero Ferry Terminal. The weather was perfect - we could sit outside in short sleeves and soak up the sun. Definitely a welcome change from last week's below zero temperatures and blowing snow in the Frozen North. We also did a few Embarcadero geocaches and finished up with some very serious shopping at the street faire.
Peter and I then bid Sonya and Karl farewell - they headed back to Stanford and we BART'd out to Walnut Creek to see Lisa and Jillian. The four us had fabulous sunny (hilly!) hike/geocaching outing and then headed off to the Apple Store! Jillian walked out of the store as the proud owner of a brand new iBook!!!!
We capped off the day with a great dinner at Bing Crosby's. Peter and I are now worn out and beached in our hotel room.
