Benjamin Disraeli. "Great services are not canceled by one act or by one single error." [Motivational Quotes of the Day]

Hm. Tell that to a customer that you’ve just let down on a critical rollout. Great services may not be cancelled, but strong trust usually is. (Disraeli was a prominent prime minister during the Victorian era, I think.)

As I was reminiscing about the MacRib, fellow aficionado Jon mentioned that he had found an excellent substitute: Subway’s double-meat pork rib on a garlic bread half-sandwich. I flubbed the order yesterday, but today he got a whole and we split it. It was excellent.

Apparently we landed a large contract somewhere with a high retention rate; the partners are in high spirits and did not care as I slipped out early. Of course that could have something to do with my having worked late the last two days.
