Apparently, I am the only person in the Googlable webbiverse to use the phrase “lust weasel:” why is this? It’s a perfectly cromulent expression from the twisted brain of (early) Matt Groening. I can’t be the only concupiscent bastard to have heard and use the phrase on the web, can I?

A gentle reminder to self: xearth -noroot -pos "sunrel 45,15" . xearth alone tries to put it into the root window, which I don’t have either because I installed Xfree86 rootless or am using OroborosX or some combination of both.

Still playing with Chimera, I clicked the History sidebar, then accidentally opened up the Older than 6 days hierarchical bullet. Beach ball of death syndrome. Actually, it was just comatose: I refused to give up, started using lynx in the Terminal to Google for Joe Millionaire (hint: evil!), and after ten minutes my entire shameful history of browsing was displayed, my windows became responsive, and I clicked the blasted thing closed.

Speaking of panoramas, this is what I’ve been keeping in my Chimerical Navigator window: a panorama of the tribute in light. Very dramatic. Requires Quicktime. [um, I think by way of Adam Curry, but not quite sure, it’s been a week]

I am so far impressed with the build of Chimera I got, what, last week already? 2002120604. I haven’t closed the app once. I have 89 tabs open across seventeen windows, and have been switching among them, closing and opening them, and so far no problem. I have a Quicktime panorama open, and my biggest complaint is that the cursor change is maintained across the windows.
