Speaking of hexapods, Twirlip of the Mists from Slashdot in a series of posts on Spielberg’s Taken wrote out an interpretation of the final scene of AI that I had not thought of, but now casts the whole movie in a new, much more attractive light for me. I suddenly want to re-watch it.

Aha! Gotcha! The carniverous hexapod faq [sic] is back, being maintained and updated. I was just looking for this last month. Matrix and Quaternion FAQ, née Carniverous Hexapod FAQ, at last. [by way of iDevGames]. Also the old version someone cached somewhere from when I was looking some time ago.

And while we are at it: omniverous biped's faq's on similar topics.

Still can’t find the biped faq.
