I cannot write. I find it difficult to write a blog entry. When I read what others have written I feel intimidated. Not only are what they write topical but years later one can read through them and still see the pertinence. I wonder how my postings will weather the years. But instead of waiting to find out it's better to write something and then analyze it later than to sit still. As the Japanese saying goes: The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is right now.
Dave Winer has been blogging for almost 9 years. That among other reasons got him a job at Harvard. Hat's off, Dave.
