I think today is nearly, if not absolutely, the happiest day of my life so far.  I got to put my little girl on the school bus for the very first time.  Knowing that she is taking steps into independence, knowing that I am very, very happy with the school she's attending, and believing that I made the right choice in fighting to have her attend that school and live with me during the school year ... all of those things leave me feeling warm and cheerful inside.  It's already been a really, really good day! 9:38:22 AM
