We're quite enamored of Donald Larson's coinage of the name "iVote" for Dave's suggested soft-money campaign group.  Eric Albert's response to Dave is chock-full of good advice.  A key factor here is that people with connections need to start setting up the funds-collection network.  We think that Eric is absolutely right that setting up a website to collect dollars isn't going to raise the funds we need to get this to really, really work. So Dave, Tim O'Reilly, Larry Lessig, maybe even Richard Stallman: it's time to get going.  Get on the phone.  Get your friends on their phones.  Get a consultant and an assistant hired, get office space (with lots of phones :-)), and LET'S GET GOING. 1:16:36 PM
