From the "more things I missed last week" department: Over at FacingSouth, RNeal reminds me that I wasn't in New York for the WeMedia conference, by pointing to this story about a speech by Al Gore about corporate-controlled media.
(The Media Center has blogs with other views of the conference, and is gradually posting some MP3s of sessions.)
Meanwhile, RNeal offers his own services as an "if only he had won" presidential speechwriter, in this "2004: The Year in Review" address.
Hmmm. That speech is vaguely reminiscent of a New-Year (or April Fool?)
message previously dwelling at the now-offline South Knox Bubba blog.
But, even if it's more than reminiscent, there's no plagiarism, RNeal
being "the artist formerly known as skb."
And recycling is a progressive thing to do, which matches Facing South's major theme.
