TODCON Vegas! - TODCON is moving a little earlier this year and moving west to Las Vegas. If you haven't gone before because of the distance, then now is your chance. There is also information on TODCON North in Toronto in March. Good conference separated by some distance. You should be able to make it to one or the other.

Contribute for the Mac - No dates or news or anything big, but people ask why there is no version this time round and I have been saying that we needed an embedable browser for the product. We talked about that being Opera and I wanted to point you to this bit of news from MacWorld UK.

Opera disclosed an agreement earlier this year for Macromedia to embed Opera's browser in its Web-authoring tools. Von Tetzchner explained: "Macromedia wanted us to strip the browser down to its browser-rendering engine, the company then plans to embed this module in Web-authoring products for the Mac platform."

I didn't want you to think I was just grasping for reasons when I said that.
