What is really going on beneath the surface? What is the nature of the bifurcation that is unfolding? That's what interests me.

Find your "inner child" and play these great Lego Games online - great for when you are on hold

I usually comment in the abstract - talking about ideas. One of my pet areas is health and how we need to look at the health system in a new way. Basically my point is that we as individuals and we as the makers of our community create many of the conditions for poor health.

Tomorrow I go to the airport to pick up our daughter Hope who has been diagnosed with cervical cancer. Only 9 months ago my wife Robin was diagnosed with breast cancer. Cancer seems to shoot many of my theories down - in that I cannot find the social cause for it and I have learned over the last year that searching for causes is a fruitless pastime.

What I have learned is that life is so precious and fragile really and that I have spent most of my life taking life for granted - especially the lives of those that I love the most. I am learning that Cancer is the great teacher of the value of life and how not to waste as much of it as I did.

Sorry about the rant but I feel close to bursting right now
