Dog revenge attack: man bites ear off foe A man went on trial yesterday for allegedly biting off another man’s ear in a nightclub brawl. “
I put my dog on him and on someone else,” said Mr. Rabain.
Ms Chistopher responded: “So, Mr. Rayner is not the only one that you have sicked (set) your dog on?” “No”, said Rabain..." [

Dog hotels - you can take your pooch with you If you are a dog lover, you really want to take your dog with you on vacation. We did just that last year when we stayed in a five-star hotel at the beach. It was worth the extra daily fee to bring our dog with us too.
"Many [hotels] are pulling out all the stops to attract guests who don't want to leave their canines at home and will pay for their pups to be pampered..." [

If you want to be invited back, just make sure you show your appreciation by not letting your dog dirty the place up. We'd towel and wipe our dog off each time he came back in from the beach (before he got in the hotel). You'll probably have to bring a crate, even if you don't use one; and you'll never want to ever leave your dog alone in the room without a "do not disturb sign" on the door.
Another death from dog mauling AK "A couple was charged with manslaughter in the dog mauling death of a woman who police believe was attacked by the couple's three pit bull terriers." The dog's teeth matched the bites on the woman's body found in the woods near the couple's home. [

(Why owners aren't extremely careful with their dogs is a mystery to me; people are just too nonchalant about dogs and their potential to injure or kill; even small dogs can do serious injury. When you know a dog has been bred to maim and kill, you know you have a powerful and tenacious dog. Why have a dog
at all unless you make sure it's trained and friendly or at least completely trustworthy.)

Related: Last month, Dog News reported: Man wanted to be buried in backyard next to dog FL"All Rick Georges wanted was to be buried next to his dog Cefus in the backyard of the family's DeSoto County home..." Neighbors petitioned against it, citing the precedent of human internment in a suburb.
And in a similar case, a woman in Kentucky wanted the dog buried near her parents in a human cemetery moved.
Some people want to be buried next to their dogs. If it's the neighbor's dog, it's an abomination; if it's your own dog next to you, it's an honor.

'My dogs were driving' excuse not credible AU A man pulled over for speeding by a police officer, next almost hit the officer writing him up with a ticket. He blamed it on his dogs: "
caused by one dog pressing on the car's accelerator, as the other dog moved the gear lever into drive..." Fat chance. [
