(We're on a different playing field here: I'd like to replace our home-made  doggie ramps with real sidewalks that gently slope up to the house [so our doggie has an easier time going in and out of the house] and if we ever get another car, we consider it a priority to have a low step for him... .. but what a dream this is... and wouldn't it be even more wonderful if shelters could afford to do more than house and destroy all those castoff dogs who live out their lives on cement floors in adjoining cages...)  Related: The doggie door
