I've been shovelling snow for two days... and I'm still not done... Over the weekend, Weirdlinks found us; so did Megarad's Linkswarm, and Madville... Weirdlinks is a hoot; Megarad is a techno surfer's dream and Madville is ... well... quite mad fun...

The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer on PBS is working on a story about weblogs to air sometime in the coming weeks and they will be attending tonight's Meetup in DC to interview a few of you about your weblog and how and why you do it.  RSVP http://blog.meetup.com  ASAP so they can have a good mix of people to talk to (and give your blog national television exposure!)  If you have any questions, please email Samara Aberman from the program at saberman@newshour.org  They are looking forward to seeing you there! If you're interested, you can see past stories about the media done by the NewsHour at http://www.pbs.org/newshour/media/index.htm . That bit of fur on your collar or cuffs may just be hair of the dog or cat... UK It isn't just massive consumer fraud; it's unspeakable animal cruelty: up to 2 million dogs and cats are tortured and killed by countries which trade in animal fur.... 'An investigation by the Humane Society of the USA said cats and dogs were kept in cruel conditions in animal farms, and that many were skinned alive to prevent the furs losing their condition after the animals' death...'
