How far would you go to extend your dog's life? NY Brando, a beloved labrador retriever, received an expensive Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) test as part of the diagnosis treatment of his inoperable brain tumor. Indeed, such stories have become more commonplace than extraordinary. We just spent hundreds of dollars on an ultrasound for one of our dogs, who recently had a bad reaction to an arthritis drug. She's fine, but creaky, and spends her nap time flopped on her very own electro-kennel thermastat controlled heating pad. (a must-have, if you have an arthritic dog).
