LukeW has some notes from Tuesday night's BayCHI meeting, a panel chat with representatives from a few sample search sites.

Also worth noting: this was the first BayCHI meeting I've attended where they had to turn on the closed-circuit monitors in the lobby and make the overflow crowd sit out there instead of crowding the aisles.

And my favorite presenter of the evening was Peter Norvig, from Google, who is clearly older than the average Google-ite--his hair is whiter than mine--and who wore a bright yellow Hawaiian shirt over jeans. As compared to the button-down variety of the other folks. Cool.
