I was having such an awful day Friday (something to do with release note insanity) that I elected to take a sanity break and ran off to see the first showing of Hitchhiker's Guide at the local theater. It helped, tremendously. It's a fun, ultimately happy movie, and I felt much better after seeing it. The theme song (and thanks for all the fish) reminds me of the Python anthem "always look on the bright side of life." Made me smile.

Also helpful was taking the kids Saturday afternoon to a school fundraiser featuring a marimba band, Singing Wood. They play Zimbabwean Shona music, which always make me smile. It's happy, joyful music. Made my day.

Oh, and don't panic.
