My spanking new and awesome 20" iMac G5 arrived right on schedule Friday morning. I used the setup assistant to move everything over from the PowerBook (~an hour), then started transferring functions from the Win2K box. Despite sincere efforts based on Eudora's instructions, the mailboxes simply refused to be transferred, so I just started pulling down mail to Eudora on the iMac today; there aren't that many threads I need to follow just now. The Quicken accounts moved without too much trouble, although some mutual fund accounts just turned to hash. No biggie, I'll just update at the end of the quarter anyway. And as of this evening, I'm running Radio Userland from the Mac as well.

Now the old Windoze box is relegated to being a fax machine, print server, and whatever trivial functions run only on Windoze.

Color me switched.
