Time for charity As much as I hate some of his products and tactics, I have learned to respect Bill Gates for finding appropriate places to spend some of his money, such as on improving world health. 'Time' honors Bill and Melinda Gates, Bono. Time magazine has named Bill and Melinda Gates and rock star Bono its "Persons of the Year," citing their charitable work... [USATODAY.com News - Top Stories] But Bono I don't get. I suppose I should be glad that he's managed to channel some of his fame into useful influence with politicians. But I have never heard a U2 song that I wanted to hear again. For that matter, I'm not even sure I've ever heard one all the way through.
