I am sure many of you have seen the PR around screenweaver. I have just had to chance to do some reading on it (hence I haven't actually used it) I wasn't on the beta so I didn't have time to make any apps or anything but from reading I like it thus far. I have wanted for a while to make a commercial application that utilizes flash as the front-end. In my opinion none of the "flash wrappers" (as I will call them) have had the capabilities I desire.

That being said I am now going to play around with the trial and see what I come up with. In the mean time I am going to try to find out what type of license fees there are for commercial applications. I generally do utility type applications which don't sell for much so flat license fees have always been the deal killer.

I have seen a couple example apps posted but I do not want to link to them without owners permission, so if you have an example app post it in the comments. My favorite so far is the MXI creator that Muzak created...as a full time component creator lately I have learned to hate tedious MXI creation time.

On a different subject this is the same reason I await the talked about gmodeler which will output the reference panel stubbed xml, which takes me a day to do at a time for large components!

UPDATE: Be sure to check out my updated post on this subject.
