Good article in the Times about grassroots organizing by the GOP:

Bush campaign officials say they envision tens of thousands of volunteers, many armed with palmtop computers with access to a database of voters' names and the issues that move them, fanning out through just about every neighborhood in the country in the weeks leading up to Election Day.

Of course, a slightly better article would have mentioned the slick online component to the GOP's effort.

The N&R's Margaret Moffett Banks reports that Chico Sabbah's Fortress Re has lost in arbitration with a Japanese insurer and must pay over $1.1 billion in compensation and damages. A separate suit involving the American Hebrew Academy has not yet been resolved. Incredibly, the N&R chose not to put this story online this morning.
