It's true, actually. That's what I always say. Ask anyone.

•••Introducing New BLOGSTUFF: crystal river, fearsome, forgetisaid and technicolor!

Spiffin up the place here, just a tad. You'll no doubt notice some new blogstuff above. Allow me to make a few introductions and comments:

First off, farewell, blogalupe. I'd hoped for a chance this spring to say more than "hi" and "hey" and nod and smile. Time and circumstance being what they are, I didn't get much the chance to hold a decent face to face conversation with ya. Gonna miss you, guadalupe.

Secondly, many of you no doubt recognize Mark, the forgetisaid fella. I have to admit freely that though I sent off a request for permission to link him, I didn't hear back from him yet. Hope you don't mind my sending folks your way, Mark. I never get tired of his charm, wit, intelligence and wonderful Uncle Fran stories. Hope he'll write dozens more of 'em.

Several will likewise already know crystal river and wolfnmoose. Like Mark, these are a couple more friends from Clan Lord's Red Quill fame. I warned 'em I'd be updating and adding 'em as an easier way to keep 'em but a click away.

New to the crew for many of you will be conversations in technicolor. Shell hates it when I associate her with gebryan's Just Cheap Dirt, because she is certainly a friend in her own right from the wayback days at Wayne State College -- of both me and my wife. I get a big kick out of her and her kids.

Last, but not least, the fearsome pirate. Here's a fella with a holy fire burning in his belly, Lutheran with a big stick. He says he could use a stiff drink, which I imagine could only more fully unleash his spirited candor. His 'about me' page says he's not only a mathematician, but likely a future preacherman brother of mine. He frankly reminds me very much of me back in the seminary days. Bring your dentures, oldsters, 'cause this guy is ready to give you something you'll have to chew well.

Welcome, friends, to my Spirit and Life.
