Reasons I love Radio Userland:

1.  I can sit somewhere without a connection and enter stuff into my log.  Then, next time I am reconnected, it uploads the stuff automatically.  This also means that if you are on a slow connection, you can still work at desktop speed because your work is saved locally.

2.  Categories are slick.  Before I make an entry, I can check a category box to put that entry in a specific category page in addition to the main page.  If I edit the entry later, it is automatically updated in each category it is placed in as well as the main page.

3.  Google API is slick.  it is pretty simple to do something like what you see on the right.  It is further scriptable to play around with formatting and messing with results (like omitting duplicates).

4.  It is scriptable.  It uses XML and a web services thing called RPC (Remote Procedure Call), it is scriptable in many languages including Java and PHP

5.  allows me to email stuff in remotely.

6.  Templates are completely customizable.
